Natural Deodorants; Why?

Natural deodorant; it sounds 'better' than the commercial alternatives but why? Let's break it down for you.

Firstly, being aluminium free means we have eliminated one more toxin from your daily routine. Aluminium works as a sweat blocker in traditional antiperspirants but has historically been linked to Alzheimers and breast cancer. Plus, when aluminium salts combine with sweat, you end up with those gross yellow stains on your clothes. So let's ditch that stuff!

While not all things natural are good for us, in this instance a deodorant containing natural botanicals & minerals is much preferred to the synthetics, alcohol, aluminium & propellants found in your commercial deodorants. It is also natural to sweat as it is our body's natural way of purging toxins, which is one more reason to ditch the sweat blockers in antiperspirants.

Our unique blends of essential oils are effective in eliminating odour. They work in combination with ingredients that inhibit bacteria growth & keep you dry, to leave you smelling fresh as a daisy all day long. Essential oils are much more gentle on sensitive skin than artificial fragrance oils, preservatives and petrochemicals.

Finally, plastic packaging be gone! And don't get me started on those annoying twist-up tubes that seem to be 90% packaging, 10% product. Our deodorants are packaged in simple aluminium tins that are compact, easy to use & infinitely recyclable.
