Windella Farm is a boutique goat dairy and Australian eco skincare business located in Cohuna, Victoria. The artisan and founder behind the brand is myself, Sarah Mostyn, with my husband Shayne by my side, behind the lens, lifting heavy things & bringing moral support. I grew up on the Gold Coast with a life long dream to live on a farm. In 2012 my dream came true when we made a tree change to the idyllic country town of Cohuna and later purchased our farm in 2014.

Our relocation to rural Victoria awakened a strong connection to the land; I have farming in my blood and felt at home in the daily triumphs and troughs of being at nature's mercy. In the Outback, the cycle of life, the rain, the sun, the tiny insects, they all play an integral part in the beating thrum of the people. You can't ignore it. It's all around you and it's wild, brutal and spectacular all at once. What developed as we settled in was a paring back, a shedding of layers and a desire to embrace a more natural, toxin-free and eco friendly life. How could I not? It was all around me. 

At the same time we were establishing our boutique goat dairy and talk around town was that the crazy newcomers from the Gold Coast were doing something different. I started to get requests for goats milk soap from friends suffering with skin conditions such as dermatitis, psoriasis and eczema. Recognising the limited availability of high quality, toxin-free & eco-friendly skincare, I began developing our skincare range to harness the benefits of all natural ingredients and create skincare solutions that are simple yet effective. It's elementary; no glitter or rainbow colours, no parabens, petrochemicals, SLS or synthetic fragrances in sight. We use the highest quality natural ingredients such as our farm fresh goats milk, locally grown olive oil and raw honey, pure essential oils, luxury clays and botanicals to deliver an eco-friendly range that your skin will love.
