Winter Skincare Tips
/The cold dry air can leave our skin feeling dehydrated, itchy and inflamed. In these cooler months, it’s important to nourish our skin and take every opportunity to lock in moisture.
Here are 4 tips to help you this Winter.
1. Avoid steaming hot showers, the hot water can strip the natural oils and dry out your skin even more.
2. Pat your skin dry, rather than rubbing the skin with a towel. This will help retain some of the natural oils on your skin.
3. Apply body oil immediately after your shower to damp skin. This will help lock in the moisture and provide all day hydration.
4. Keep yourself hydrated from within. You should be drinking at least 8 glasses of water per day.
